Because the hose protective sleeve is placed on the outside of the hose to protect it, the outer diameter of the hose needs to be determined, and the specifications of the protective sleeve are differentiated according to the inner diameter, so as long as the outer diameter of the hose is determined, the corresponding hose The sheath is fine.
1. If the outer diameter of the hose can be determined, it is very clear. For example, the outer diameter of the hose is 25mm, then you can directly choose the SHG-25 tubing jacket.
2. If you know the inner diameter and wall thickness of the hose, for example, the inner diameter is 12mm and the wall thickness is 4mm, then the outer diameter of the hose is the inner diameter plus the two wall thicknesses, ie 12 4 * 2 = 20mm, then use SHG -20 sheath.
3. What if I only know the inside diameter of the hose, not the wall thickness, or the inside diameter is uncertain? Then you can calculate the outer diameter by the formula of the pi rate. First find an inelastic wire, wind the hose once, and then measure the length of this circumference with a ruler. Then you can get the circumference of the outer diameter of the hose, and the diameter is the circumference. Dividing by the pi (3.14), for example, the length of the wire is 57mm, then the diameter (outer diameter) is 57 / 3.14≈18.15, then the sheath of SHG-18 can be selected.
4. There is also a case where the outer diameter of the hose is 17mm, but the specifications of the hose protection sleeve are only SHG-16 and SHG-18, and there is no SHG-17. In this case, SHG-16 should be selected, because the tubing protective sleeve is helical like a spring with elasticity, and it is slightly better when it is wrapped around the hose. If you choose a sheath that is larger than the hose, It will be sloppy when you go up, it is not beautiful, and the protection effect is not good. Some foreign customers use rubber jackets with an inner diameter of 60mm to wrap hoses with an outer diameter of 80mm or more.
